Reverse Mortgage Counseling

What is a reverse mortgage?
A reverse mortgage loan is a financial loan designed for homeowners, typically age-restricted, that allows them to convert a portion of their home equity into cash. Unlike a traditional mortgage, where you make monthly payments to the lender, with a reverse mortgage, the lender pays you. The loan is repaid only when you sell the home, move out, or pass away. This type of mortgage can provide additional income for retirees, helping to cover living expenses while allowing them to remain int heir homes.
